Not in the traditional sense. There is no weekly service to sit through and no sermon. We get together for casual Bible studies and conversations, group events, fellowship, volunteering, and community service, and people take part as much or as little as they are comfortable with.
No. Evolve is LGBTQ+ led and affirming, and it is open to allies, family members, lifelong Christians, people returning to faith, people who have not always felt welcome in traditional churches, and anyone simply curious and looking for community.
That is fine. You do not need to know the Bible, have all the answers, or even be sure what you believe. Questions are welcome and so are different perspectives. Nobody is going to tell you exactly what you have to believe.
The heart of it is simple: follow what Jesus taught. Love people, show compassion, help others, serve the community, and treat people the way we would want to be treated. We believe nobody should have to choose between their faith and who they are.

Yes. Evolve ULC is a direct program of Heal the World Initiative Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, alongside Piper's Fund and Tranz Legal. It is run by the organization itself rather than through our fiscal sponsorship program, which serves outside projects led by other people.
