Learn About Tranz Legal

An LGBTQ+ led and affirming Christian faith community built around casual Bible studies, fellowship, and service.
Learn About Evolve ULCWe are a small board-governed nonprofit that runs its own projects and opens the same infrastructure to other people doing good work. Every dollar we receive stays under our control and our review, and every sponsored project is approved before it raises anything. That is the point.

We run our own charitable projects, and we sponsor other people's. Our direct projects are Piper's Fund, which rescues dogs and cats and helps owners keep the ones they have, and Tranz Legal, which helps transgender and gender diverse people reach affordable legal support, and Evolve ULC, an LGBTQ+ led and affirming Christian faith community. Alongside those we offer fiscal sponsorship to approved charitable projects.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, so gifts may be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. We cannot give tax advice, and how any particular gift is treated depends on your own circumstances, so check with your tax professional.
Gifts support the charitable programs and activities of this organization. That covers animal welfare through our animal rescue project, community assistance, re-entry support, youth programs, and access to resources. Money designated for a sponsored project is administered by us and granted out for that project's approved charitable activities.
Animals come into our care at different times, so there is no standing roster to browse. Tell us what you are hoping for and how you live, and we will let you know what is possible now and what may open up. Placements are matched rather than first come, because a match that suits both sides is the one that holds.
Every project is reviewed individually before anything is approved. Tell us about the work, who leads it, what it will cost, and how you plan to raise money, and we look at whether the activities are charitable and consistent with our purposes. Approved projects then sign a written fiscal sponsorship agreement.
Sometimes, and it depends entirely on what our programs need that month. Pet food and supplies, hygiene products, clothing, school supplies and office supplies are all things we can use in the right season. Message us first and we will tell you what is useful now and how to get it to us.
Tell us what you need or what you would like to support, and we will reply personally.
Reach out about a donation, volunteering, or fiscal sponsorship. We will follow up from there.
